In my island house there are…
ancient songs,
dreams of adventure and the sky,
mysterious clans
In my garden house there are…
hollyhocks,
smells of moss and soil,
grandmother’s rusty gardening shears
In my river house there is…
children’s laughter,
the rocking of the waves,
the freedom found in gusty winds
In my house, there is room for all of this
And for you.
