Sentiers is a multidisciplinary artistic journey created for families from different community groups in Quebec City, produced in 2012-2013.Spread out over a year, Sentiers was divided into four disciplinary paths: Theatre, Music, Dance/Visual Arts, and Media Arts/Installation Art/Performance Art. Each of the paths was made up of various activities: short forms implanted in community locations, a cultural outing and a few parent-baby practical workshops.
Throughout the journey, children and their parents encountered artists and their pieces, discovered different artistic disciplines, took part in workshops, and opened doors to Quebec City’s various cultural sites. Above all, children and parents shared the experience of aesthetic emotion.
